Service Description
Seasoned and novice operators alike will benefit from this classroom‑based course, which covers the fundamentals of safe crane operation. Topics include basic crane construction, essential rigging principles, crane controls, managing and preventing load swing, and conducting thorough pre‑operation inspections. This course is designed as a classroom portion only. Your company must still complete the required hands‑on operator verification at the job site in accordance with MSHA and OSHA regulations. Per MSHA’s Task Training requirements (30 CFR §§ 46.7 & 48.27) and OSHA’s Crane Operator Qualification standards (29 CFR 1926.1427), contractors must be trained, evaluated, and deemed competent on each individual piece of equipment they operate. Classroom training alone does not meet regulatory requirements; employers must conduct hands‑on, equipment‑specific verification at the job site to ensure operators can safely run the exact crane or lifting device used in their work environment.
